The current system is in place for a reason, and the absence of a replacement "application" process at this stage of approval is concerning. It reads like once you register your project, your actions are completely indemnified with no oversight. This will create a situation where developers destroy Ontario green space with no regard to wildlife, which needs to be protected. The supposed short term "economic" benefits of this bill (i.e., money in the pockets of developers) don't justify the environmental devestation this wroughts, which will never recover in our lifetimes.
