As a person who grew up in a small city surrounded by nature playing in the creeks and hiking on conservation areas to catch a glimpse of rare species or endangered animals, It was be absolutely disgusting if big companies and developers continue to destroy what isn’t theirs to destroy, we have the green belt for a reason, we have protected wetlands/conservation areas and endangered species FOR A REASON. How is the fight against climate change and declining numbers or rare and endangered species suppose to be protected with a bill like this! It is an absolute shame that you have even put this bill forward without considering the upheaval of all ecosystems all for more money in the pockets of the 1%. Ontario wants to protect of land and animals not pave over it or kill them off!
