This government has proven times and times again that all it cares about is the interests of developers and money. As a resident of Hamilton I strongly oppose to this legislation that clearly seeks to cause further harm to our environment, at risk and endangered species, and ultimately the health and wellbeing of our communities. It’s also outrageous that you are trying to pass a legislation that would entrain consultation with First Nations, this is not how reconciliation works. Stop the nonsense and stop doing everything you can to destroy our environment. There are other ways for building affordable housing and transportation. For example Hamilton code is full of empty parking lots, I’m sure it would be better to build mix used building there than pushing to build multi million single houses on farm and wet lands in the outskirts of the city.
