This bill is unconstitutional and would undo any work that has been done to protect endangered species in Ontario and broader Canada. It is an affront to municipal, provincial, federal, and indigenous laws that are in place to protect the environment and wildlife. An unqualified politician, Doug Ford, should not get the right to decide which animals and environments are endangered and deserve to be slaughtered. If anyone reading this comment cares about the future of Ontario and the beautiful wildlife that exists within Canada, they will say no to Bill 5 and shoot it down. Please for the love of nature and the next generations to come don’t let this Bill become official.
