This is a blatant attempt to develop on protected land? It is absolutely detrimental to the health of ecosystems (which humans are a part of) to destroy biodiversity and cause the extinction of species in order to further enrich land developers who do not contribute to the economy in any meaningful way except to further enrich themselves.
