The government claims to protect species, but it clearly is not serious in its efforts. The proposals will be harmful to wildlife of all types and particularly to those at risk. Since the government doesn't understand how nature works, PLEASE hire unbiased consultants who can explain to you how harmful your proposals are. What about habitat necessary to live? And migration routes? Protecting a current den is not enough. And providing money is only just a start - it doesn't fix a very real problem, it just whitewashes the government's actions. While we need more development, there is no point if we end up ruining the world we live in.
