No, I do not think that boosting the economy is worth losing more Greenspace in Ontario. Green spaces, forests, wetlands, parks, etc are important to Ontario culture, not just the environment. And no we should absolutely not be removing protections for animals. And No we should not be skipping over the due process and should not be skipping over consultation with Indigenous leaders. Fast tracking a system that protects our land and waters and animals is shortsighted. Doug Ford needs to prioritize something other than development and construction companies during his next term. His people have many other priorities (like education and health care and drug abuse and homelessness) and we want him to focus on those priorities first.
