I oppose Bill 5. No one, least of all the government, should be able to ignore the laws of the land whenever it seems convenient. If Bill 5 is passed, it will spell the end of democracy in our province. It will tell everyone that our laws mean nothing. It will be plain to see that what the public wants does not matter—that the government will operate against the will of its people.
I oppose giving developers a fast track to razing the environment. If the current way of doing things is too slow, perhaps consider that it’s because the proposals are too dangerous to proceed with in the first place.
