I do not support the proposed changes to Ontario’s endangered species protections. Replacing permits with a “register-and-go” system puts vulnerable plants and animals at greater risk, especially when the government can choose which species to protect. This feels less like streamlining and more like paving the way for unchecked development — at the cost of our environment. We need strong, science-based protections, not shortcuts that benefit developers.
