This opens too many loopholes for people to destroy endangered species habitats. They'll make mistakes and then ask for forgiveness after it's already too late.

The name of this alone "Protect Ontario by Unleashing our Economy Act" and somehow implying it'll be better for the environment and endangered species is a joke. This is all about removing protections and speeding up development at the expense of our natural spaces. So thinly disguised as being for our benefit.
