I do not agree with the proposed changes. There is a lack of consultation with indigenous groups. This government is supposed to be building stronger relationships with them, not ignoring them. I’m also concerned about the over riding scope- there are many species at risk, and without the current safeguards, the development of sensitive environments will be much too easy.
This government has already tried to remove green space - this bill needs much more review and I would suggest reworking
