For the provincial government to propose an act that reduces necessary procedures which safeguard our environment and native land excludes the values of many Ontarians. While 2/3s of Ontario is treaty territory and ALL of Turtle Island is under the stewardship of Indigenous people, we cannot allow their voices to be ignored. There is no excuse. We can build houses and develop land without compromising protected areas and endangered species. There is no need for shortcuts. Please remove this proposal and think of bettering our collective future instead of momentary wealth.
