Endangered animals and the environment in general should be prioritized over industrial progression. There is not a food shortage or energy shortage or shelter shortage for the average canadian. But there is a global carbon emission surplus. Canada is privileged enough to contribute to reducing our impact on the planet we live on. Starting with protecting Canada's ecosystems and environment.
