I would like to formally oppose this bill. I do not think projects that can potentially disrupt vital habitats or components thereof should be undertaken with simple online registration. There are also very few mentions of penalties for non-compliance, indicating the absence of intent to enforce species protection.

Again, this comment wishes to formally oppose this bill and oppose the deregulation of protections for the enormous list of Species at Risk in Ontario.
