I oppose bill 5. I want stronger environmental protections and the protection of endangered species. I oppose shortcuts for industry. I oppose overriding the law in special economic zones. Do not develop Ontario's natural environments for economic gains. Nature is what makes our province special, and nature is free to anyone to explore and should remain that way. The people of Ontario have been hit so hard by inflation, but at least we can still go out to enjoy beautiful sunsets, beaches and forests for free. This is one of the few remaining things that we can do to improve our mental health that isn't costly. Leave capitalism and economic gain out of natural spaces, there is so much more to the world than money.
