This makes it harder to keep developers accountable for ecological damage. Canada already has vulnerable ecosystems and the proposed is a threat to that. The Endangered Species Act is not designed for industries to create pathways to bypass accountability. It was designed to protect our most at risk wildlife.

I hope these proposals can be looked at again and withdrawn in order to protect our rich Ontario natural heritage.
