I wholeheartedly disagree with the proposed changes in their current format. Stating that "The current approach to the protection and conservation of species at risk is complicated, takes too long to complete, and causes unnecessary delays and costs for housing, transit, and critical infrastructure" is a ridiculous justification to use when considering the fact that humans are currently creating one of the largest extinction events in the history of the planet. It is absolutely necessary to protect the environment we live in, even if it comes at the cost of delays to construction and infrastructure development. Once these species and habitats disappear, they will likely never return. Who actually wants ecological collapse so the 417 can get an extra lane, as if that would solve the traffic problem?

There is so much wrong with the proposed implementation of this bill I don't even know where to start. Voluntary inclusion in rehabilitation programs? Governmental discretion of what species are on the endangered species list? It goes on and on, who in their right mind would think this is a good idea.

And for what? Do we really want Ford's buddies to be able to bulldoze the green belt with less restrictions and make a fortune, just so that the 1% can get richer, faster? No thank you. I disagree completely, please do not pass this, I beg you.
