At a time when biodiversity is facing unprecedented threats, it is imperative that we strengthen, not diminish, the measures in place to safeguard our vulnerable species. We need more protection for endangered species, not less.
I urge you to immediately cease any efforts to alter Bill 5 in a way that would reduce its effectiveness. Please prioritize the preservation of our natural heritage and ensure robust protections for endangered species are maintained and enhanced.
