I oppose Bill 5 which would remove protection of endangered and threatened species by damaging their habitat. We need to be moving in a direction of protecting the land and limiting harm. We must not continue down a path that will further damage the land and put future generations at risk.
Currently Ontario is facing lawsuits for failing to protect younger generations from climate change. This further demonstrates the responsibility of government to protect the land and wildlife.Rather than making decisions for economic gain that will be harming people and the planet, Ontario needs to be protecting at risk species and thinking about the future of younger generations.
