Our government should prioritize protecting the environment over protecting corporations’ rights to trample over the environment. The current ESA provides a reasonable system of checks and balances to ensure all relevant factors are considered before engaging in activities that might harm resident wildlife, removing those checks for the benefit of corporations is not in the best interests of Ontario residents.
