The citizens of Ontario deserve transparency and accountability from their leaders. It is unacceptable for such sweeping changes, which could irreparably harm our environment and disregard the rights of Indigenous peoples, to be introduced without full public consultation and debate. The future of our wetlands, our rich biodiversity, and our shared heritage hangs in the balance.
We must demand that our elected officials prioritize sustainability and inclusivity over short-term economic gains. Attempts to silence opposition and bypass democratic processes undermine the very foundation of our society. Ontarians have the right to be heard, and it is imperative that this bill be re-evaluated with the full participation of all stakeholders to ensure that the best interests of the people and the environment are upheld.
Let us stand together to protect our province from this reckless legislation and insist on policies that reflect the values and integrity of our community
