Trying to create legislation…

Trying to create legislation that would give cabinet power to create “special economic zones”, and speed up development in zones like the Ring of Fire without indigenous consultation and consent is very concerning and goes against the duty to consult, as set out in section 35 of the constitution, and as is brought up in the TRC report.

I don't want my potential phone battery to be at the cost of indigenous rights, of the environmental degradation that generally comes with mining. It's not clean energy if we don't respect the stewards of the land we're trying to harvest, nor the land itself.
