I’m opposed to Bill 5. I can’t help but think of species at risk and endangered species, their homes and land needed to support them. Referring to a den or nest as an area and not the surrounding environment is not how ecosystems work. I also disagree any government official should be able or have the knowledge base to understand and make decisions regarding species at risk or endangered. I also vehemently disagree with removing rights in special zones, from everyone including First Nations and indigenous peoples. I believe Canada is special, ruggedly beautiful and needs to be protected. Bill 5 would put our environment and species at risk. To line the pockets of a few.
