The endangered species act protects at risk species, but it also protects humans. Any laws which protect the environment, protects our air, earth and water. We require these to survive. Laws which protect the environment should have full immunity from provincial level political influence. On that same note, it should take the utmost work at the federal level to overturn laws meant to protect our environment and all species within the ecosystem.
