I am strongly opposed to these proposed changes to the Endangered Species Act. It is discouraging to see what is supposed to be a progressive country running the wrong way with the ball. I wish our government could look beyond the immediate future and realize preserving Ontario's biodiversity is both an ecological victory and a wise economic move. It's discouraging to see a blatant disregard for expert opinion at this level of government.
