We should be cautious about overlapping developing changes being made by future policymakers, political leaders, and supporters. The general public should recognize the value of the Endangered Species Act rather than eliminate essential habitat definitions by cutting regulations, especially to create economic zones at the expense of a healthy environment. This misguided legislation erodes the hard work put into reforms and exacerbates the effects of crisis and scarcity.
