I am very concerned at Premier Ford's lack of respect for our laws and regulations that were established to protect our environment and reduce the impacts of climate change. This is not the first time he is presenting such a wide ranging and undemocratic bill. When I look at what is happening south of this I am very worried that this right wing tendency to weaken our institutions and our ability to protect ourselves and our regions is being damaged by Ford's abuse of his majority. I am very afraid of the type of society he is trying to create, one dominiated by big companies and developers who only think of their own profit and not the well being of the whole. He pretends to care about creating jobs and affordable housing but he is not to be believed. He never tried to hide how much he admires Trump and only objected to the tariffs. Now he is making it obvious why he thinks Trump way of doing things is right for Ontario. He is trying to create a developer dominated economy that will not create affordable housing or protect us in any way. This bill cannot be allowed to pass...It will cost taxpayers millions fighting it in the couts...guaranteed....
