This circumvents a previous bill which had due process to create projects on protected lands and habitats. The other bill would have a company file a request and then it would be reviewed. This bill essentially allows a company to get to work immediately without the proper care and time it used to take to review if a project should go into specific areas. This is a very anti eco-friendly policy and pretty anti canadian imo.
