This is an unacceptable proposal. Citizens rely on the government to protect our interests and the actions you wish to take with this proposal are short-sighted and reek of environmental racism. Indigenous rights are as important as the rights of other citizens and environmental concerns should not be an afterthought, or dismissed in the interests in resource-extraction companies who have been proven unreliable in their management of pollution and environmental destruction. You must do better.
