I am not in favour of any legislation that seems to remove the guardrails for protecting our provincial treasures such as native flora and fauna, the green belt, Ontario Place or even the Science Center and leaving those decisions up to the "government's discretion". The people have spoken about this before with the current administration and these proposed amendments seem like a back door to getting the same thing the administration wanted before. Progress and new development building in Ontario needs to be affordable, not million dollar homes in prime locations.
