Hello,
I am a Ontario resident raised in the Niagara region and I hope you reconsider going through with updating the Endangered Species Act, 2007.
With the sovereignty and livelihood of indigenous peoples in Ontario being often careless dismissed by many green lit projects, these new bills seem to continue the long trend of degrading these peoples ancestral environment, and disrupting there sources of food and water.
Additionally, biodiversity is more than just some social justice nonsense, but crucial for a healthy, functioning ecosystem, in addition to what makes this province so unique and beautiful.
While we are in a housing crisis, I would be giving the Premier too much credit to say he has any of the 75%-ers best interest in any decision he has made or will continue to make under his leadership.
