I oppose Bill 5. Increasing transparency is important, especially with regards to Indigenous perspectives. I was very troubled by the specific language: "whether and how Indigenous consultation and public engagement will be incorporated". I am also troubled by the language Bill 5 uses surrounding the Environmental Protection Act and the Endangered Species Act. I oppose Bill 5.
