I am writing to voice my opposition to the legislation being considered around the establishment of Economic Zones. Such an endeavour is open to exploitation by corporations, and politicians.

If a project truly does have the economic wellbeing or ‘safety’ of our Province at the core of it, then such a piece of legislation would not be needed.

This legislation will not make Ontario more financially stable, make our communities more prosperous or improve the future for Ontario. It is a legacy project which will corrupt, destroy and endanger both our communities, our economy and our environment.
