I find this Bill very disturbing. The Provincial government has no place being the decision maker on species at risk or what qualifies as worth consideration with regard to habitat loss, without input from expert scientific opinions from non-affiliated sources (i.e. conservation authorities). The current provincial government has already shown it's disregard for the environment and the animal species that dwell in it, by decimating the authority of conservation experts.

Proof that this Bill is a direct disregard for species at risk while promoting untamed development lies in the fact that the proposed changes limit the scope of what is to be considered. If you consider your own ability to survive based on your house and its contents only, and not the ability for you to have access to food and clean water, to have all the things from the outside world that you need to survive and thrive and for future generations of your family to survive, it makes sense that this bill would be so pathetically useless.

Disgusting disregard for anything but the developers and quarry's that are getting rich thanks to Doug Ford's government.
