I deeply oppose bill 5. We cannot afford to destroy our environment so that Doug Ford’s development buddies can make more money.
I want stronger environmental protections not weaker ones. Industry and developers should not be allowed to use shortcuts because those processes are there to evaluate environmental impact. You may see it as inconvenient but we are already in climate change and this will worsen the outcomes of it.
I do not want this government to be able to override the law in public zones because they say it’s essential. This government is already too comfortable destroying natural habitats with no input from the public and the public deserves oversight of these matters.
