The environmental protections are there for a reason and should not be bypassed simply because it takes time. As our weather becomes more volatile, we have more fires and the global temperatures are rising unsustainably and more species become endangered every year - this is a bizarre and counterintuitive bill. We need to take the environmental impacts of everything much more seriously, not less. I am incredibly disappointed in this bill from our government, which shows they are not understanding the situation.
