I'm very concerned to hear that our leaders' proposed solution to housing difficulties is to cease vital protections on our surrounding environment.
I know you are smarter than this. I know you can come up with a better more equitable solution (yes, we can inconvenience the rich in order to protect the planet and future success). The economy is not more valuable than the environment. An underground highway? Is this real? Build a train. Build it on the 401.
Please. Construction of housing and infrastructure must be done in existing urban areas. Remove all the extra space we are giving to cars via parking and highways and replace with environmentally friendly rail lines and affordable housing. Why are you making these clearly wrong choices? Do better. Think of future generations! We the People are fed up with this nonsense.
