These new motions are extremely unnerving. These bills will allow developers to easily build on protected land, next to sensitive waterways, and fill Ontario's greatest natural resource (our natural spaces) with industry and housing. Ontarians have been visiting the Greenbelt and other protected spaces their whole lives, the thought of losing this areas is terrifying. We would be losing a part of our identity, and at the same time damaging our environment further. The climate is heading towards global disaster at breakneck speeds. I wish that just once, this provincial government would consider our children and grandchildren's right to a sustainable environment and take action to secure it. That is far more important than anything else right now.
