The country is too large to enforce its own toxics reduction bans, and Ontario has stricter guidelines than Canada at large. This is a good thing, meaning that we are more protected. Given that we have a higher population density and manufacturing economy as compared to other provinces, we SHOULD have stricter standards. Corporations do not care about public welfare. That is meant to be the purview of the government. Do your jobs.
