I am writing to object in the strongest possible way to the proposed exemptions from the Environmental Bill of Rights that will remove the right of Ontarians to be advised of or to comment on, any required permits at Ontario Place, on or off site, to support the project?
Why does the Environmental Bill of Rights exist?
Many Ontarians have spoken out of our fragile ecosystem. A couple of days ago 2 healthy coyoyes were killed. Why? Because they have lost their habitat due to us demolishing their homes. They have nowhere to go and as a result they are scared and hungry and attacking dogs. Also, the public needs better education about leashing their dogs because coyotes live with us.
