The very idea of this change to the Species Act is very clearly a nakedly-apparent attempt to gut Ontario's environmental legislation, to seize control of public lands, and put more money into the bloated, overflowing pockets of Ford and his cronies. Once again, Ford shows his naked corruption, his greed, and his sycophantic desire to only govern according to the whims of his wealthy friends. So much for a "man of the people". At least his late brother spent SOME of his money in underprivileged communities. If Doug doesn't want people to associate him with Pierre and with fascists like Musk and Trump, it is best not to act like them and actually work to govern in the interest of the people who keep electing him, lord knows why, because he might be very, very shocked at how quickly someone can fall in the polls.
