Ontarios flora and fauna must be protected particularly in the already heavily developed areas of central and southern Ontario. Our natural areas are one of a kind and irreplaceable. Once they are gone they are gone forever, no conservation or restoration will ever replace what once was. Change , development, or alteration, and protection must be backed by real science and factual evidence not by streamlined business decisions that just make things easier for proponents. Ontarios economy is important and our growth is too but not at the cost of losing more of what we have so little of here in central and southern Ontario. I am all for making processes easier but not to shortcut.
