I am writing to strongly object to the proposed exemptions from the Environmental Bill of Rights that will impact our rights to be advised of, or to comment on, any required permits at Ontario Place, or any other place in Ontario, before construction permits are approved.

I support efforts to speed up the process to approve permits for construction of infrastructure, mines, power plants, manufacturing plants, etc. but we still need to consider the impact on the environment and the rights of the various stakeholders in our province to be informed, raise concerns and have those concerns addressed in an appropriate manner.
