This proposal is awful - what a slap in the face to call it 'Protecting Ontario'. This proposal has no plan for protecting the habitats of migratory birds. Protecting only the "Dwelling place" does nothing and is just lip service. At a bare minimum, legal protection for threatened and endangered birds should continue to exist for habitats on crown land.
The federal government does that for their crown land, why can't we do the same?
Finally, does this proposal respect indigenous voices? I feel like it obviously does not.
