As usual, I strongly oppose the Ford government, this time with regards to the proposed changes to the Endangered species act.
I do not believe the proposed changes will benefit endangered species here in Ontario. Instead the changes will make place these species and our environment at greater risk.
These changes will instead have catastrophic impact on Ontario's biodiversity--in particular the rarest and most vulnerable wildlife. By protecting species, we protect ecosystems, which in turn protects the health and well-being of all Ontarians. We can do this while still working together to protect our economic interests.
Do better Doug Ford. Stop sacrificing our province for the sake of developers. We are in a climate crisis. We need to think ahead to the future, and protect our province while we still can.
