I am deeply disturbed by this proposed Bill. It undermines the integrity of wildlife and nature protection. Any development must always follow due process. There is no proof that any development has been delayed by the current process of waiting for Ministry approval. The government at every level must improve wildlife protection, especially for endangered species, not remove protection. We are at a critical point in time when we must act to protect what little we have left, before it is too late.
I deeply oppose this bill and it must be stopped.
