Please do not remove measures to ensure the protection and conservation of animals for the sake of increasing and accelerating suburban sprawl. it is probably a good thing that these surveys take a long time to complete, giving them enough time to thoroughly assess the impact of construction on animal habitats, and any damage to those habitats would take years and years to repair if done. i would rather know that ecosystems are being allowed to remain and thrive than know that there will be more overpriced houses that people can’t afford anyway.
