The laws that established and protect the Greenbelt are vitally important to the environmental, health, and economic well-being of the province. Eroding them directly or indirectly would be short-sighted and irrevocably damaging to our future. Greed should not override the greater public good.
Instead, we need better land-use policies that allow for urban intensification. Sprawl is unsustainable.
