Hello,
Whether we like it or not, the climate crisis is here, now. We don't have just a few more years, we cant make just a few more sacrifices. Entire species are going extinct on a near daily basis. Ecosystems are being changed across the globe as weather patterns change. Storms are getting bigger, weather is getting more extreme. People are dying.
We are currently already experiencing large wildfires in the north of this province and it is May, which is not normal, not in my lifetime, nor in the lifetimes of the elected officials who are trying to sell out our future food and water security to the highest bidder.
If we want to see cost of living go down, it won't happen if we burn the forests we use for wood for houses. It won't happen if our crops die to drought. We need to protect what we have, because otherwise we will have nothing left for our children and grandchildren to protect.
