As a parent and grandparent I oppose this Bill 5 due to its disempowerment of citizen resistance to the immense negative impact of reducing actual habitat of endangered species and lack of true consultation with indigenous stakeholders with regard to mining and protection of vulnerable communities. As a lifelong educator and caring citizen I have dedicated my life to shared values related to caring for and protecting natural areas for the benefit (including mental and physical health) of future generations. Please reconsider retracting this bill and more carefully consider its generational impact.
